Registration open for SATG’s Summer sports camp at Yusufguda’s KBR Indoor Stadium

Hyderabad: The Sports Authority of Telangana (SATG) is set to host its Annual Summer Coaching Camp 2025 from May 1 to June 6, 2025. The camp will be conducted at the KVBR Indoor Stadium in Yusufguda, with two daily sessions, the morning session from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM and the evening session from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

This year, the camp will offer training in nine different sports, Badminton, Basketball, Boxing, Gymnastics, Karate, Skating, Wrestling, Table Tennis, and Yoga. Zumba Musical Dance classes will also be available for parents.

The fees for participation vary across the sports: Badminton costs Rs. 2550, Basketball and Skating are priced at Rs. 2050, while Boxing, Gymnastics, Karate, Wrestling, and Table Tennis are charged at Rs. 550 each. Yoga and Zumba classes for parents are offered free of charge.

Interested students can reach out to the respective game coaches for enrollment. The program is open to children starting from the age of 5, with age restrictions specific to each sport. Applicants will need to submit two photographs and a copy of their Aadhaar card as part of the registration process.

The camp also provides an opportunity for coaches to identify talented athletes who may be recommended for further training. This initiative aims to encourage young athletes to consider sports as a career path and to bring recognition to the state and the country. With access to high-quality sports infrastructure, participants will have the chance to train in an environment designed for professional development.
