Revanth Reddy urges Gadkari to approve key Telangana roads

HYDERABAD: Chief minister A Revanth Reddy met Union minister for road transport and highways Nitin Gadkari on Wednesday and sought central approvals for major road projects in Telangana. Reddy told Gadkari that 90% of land acquisition for the Regional Ring Road (north part) has been completed. He requested immediate financial and cabinet clearance for starting construction.

CM seeks approval for south ring road

The chief minister also urged Gadkari to clear the Regional Ring Road (south part) based on the detailed project report submitted by the state in line with Union ministry guidelines. He further requested approval to develop the Raviryala–Amangal–Mannanur road as a four-lane greenfield corridor.

Demand for Hyderabad–Srisailam and Mancherial highways

Reddy pressed for approval of a four-lane elevated corridor on the Mannanur–Srisailam stretch (NH 765). He also sought national highway status for a new greenfield road between Hyderabad and Mancherial. The chief minister additionally sought permission to build a 12-lane greenfield expressway from Hyderabad’s Bharat Future City to Machilipatnam Port via Amaravati.
