Revanth Reddy questioned the BJP's development strategy for Hyderabad and Telangana. He highlighted the contrast between projects initiated in Gujarat by Narendra Modi, like the Bullet Train and Gift City, and the lack of similar investments in Telangana. Speaking on the occasion, Revanth Reddy said, “Narendra Modi has initiated projects like the Bullet Train, Sabarmati development, and Gift City for Gujarat but what did you bring for Hyderabad and Telangana? Kishan Reddy is against Musi river development project as it brings better reputation for hyderabad than Gujarat. If you are serious about Hyderabad development, bring Rs 25,000 funds for Musi Rejuvenation Project.”

“As you are concerned about poor people bringing Rs 10,000 under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, we will allot land for the same. We will construct houses, schools, and buildings and ensure good infrastructure facilities,” said Reddy.

Reddy further added that the Musi rejuvenation requires Godavari water. He said we need Rs 7,000 crores to bring Godavari water from Mallanna Sagar reservoir to Himayat and Osman Sagar for the needs of Hyderabad people.

Throwing light on the Metro expansion plan, Reddy said, “The current Metro, covering 76 kilometers, was designed by the then Congress government and built by the preceding governments. Now we are aspiring to expand the Metro by another 116 kilometers. The project is estimated with a budget of 35,000 crores. How much funds will you bring from the central?”

For laying of the Regional Ring Road, we need Rs 35,000 crore and another Rs 15,000 crore for laying radial roads connecting the Outer Ring Road(ORR) with the Regional Ring Road(RRR), totaling 50,000 crores. We already placed a proposal with Union Minister for Transport Nitin Gadkari. How many funds are you going to bring for the development of Hyderabad? You must answer to the Telangana people, added Reddy.

Challenges BRS and BJP to present viable policies

Reddy alleged that Kishan Reddy’s and BJP’s stance appears to be blocking the Musi project and whatever Congress party initiated this will get a befitting reply from us. He further challenged BJP state president Kishan Reddy to come up with a policy document on the project if it is scientifically viable, we will implement their suggestion, reiterated Revanth Reddy.

The Chief Minister projected Rs 1.5 lakh crores of investment for Hyderabad in the next four years and challenged Kishan Reddy to present a development action plan for Hyderabad. Reddy emphasized the need for a collaborative approach, inviting the BRS and BJP to come up with a road map for the Musi River project and overall urban development.
