Three arrested in Rajendranagar woman abduction, murder case
HYDERABAD: On September 22, three men kidnapped, gang sexually assaulted, and murdered a 32-year-old woman whose body the Rajendranagar police found under the Moosi River bridge at Kismathpur village.
The police registered the case as Crime No. 1014/2025 under Sections 64(1), 66, 70(1), 87, 103(1), 238 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita at Rajendranagar police station.
Accused had previous criminal records
Authorities identified the arrested individuals as Ghulam Dastagir Khan (26), Mohammed Imran alias Danram (25), an auto driver, and Meka Durga Reddy alias Durga (33), a car driver. Police seized two autorickshaws and four mobile phones from the accused.
Woman lured, gang raped and killed
According to investigators, they last saw the woman near Pillar No. 143 at Aramghar on September 14 before she went missing. Durga Reddy lured her into his auto, bought her beer and biryani, and sexually assaulted her near KLCC Function Hall, Shamshabad. He later dropped her at Pillar No. 306.
Subsequently, Ghulam Dastagir Khan and Mohammed Imran coerced her into their autorickshaw and drove her to Kismathpur bridge. There, the two gang sexually assaulted her. When she resisted, Dastagir Khan fatally assaulted her with sticks. The accused abandoned her body in bushes near the bridge.
The woman’s disappearance had gone untraced for three days before her body was recovered.

DCP Rajendranagar Ch. Srinivas, IPS, commended the Special Operations Team and Rajendranagar police station staff for swift investigation and coordination in solving the case.
