In a resignation letter addressed to BJP Telangana President G. Kishan Reddy, Raja Singh expressed his discontent with the decision, stating that it had come as a shock not only to him but also to numerous party workers, leaders, and supporters. "With a heavy heart, I write this letter to reflect the pain of lakhs of Karyakartas who feel let down," Raja Singh wrote, highlighting the disillusionment felt by BJP supporters.

Raja Singh raised concerns about the party’s leadership in Telangana, stating, "At a time when BJP stands on the cusp of forming its first government in Telangana, such a choice raises serious doubts about the direction we are heading." He pointed out that there are several senior leaders, MLAs, and MPs within the state who have worked tirelessly for the growth of the party and possess the capability to lead it forward.

The MLA accused some individuals within the party of misleading the central leadership and making decisions based on personal interests. "This undermines the sacrifices of grassroots workers and risks setting the party back," Raja Singh added.

Having been elected three times in a row with the support of the people and the party, Raja Singh expressed his frustration. "This is not about personal ambition; it reflects the frustration of lakhs of loyal BJP Karyakartas and supporters who feel sidelined," he stated. He further added that the BJP had a golden opportunity to form a government in Telangana, but that hope was now being replaced by disappointment due to the leadership choices.

In his resignation letter, Raja Singh formally requested Kishan Reddy to notify the Speaker of the Telangana Legislative Assembly that he is no longer a member of the BJP.

While stepping down from the party, Raja Singh reiterated his commitment to the ideology of Hindutva and to serving the people of Goshamahal. "I will continue to support the Hindu community and raise my voice with even greater strength," he said.

Raja Singh also appealed to senior BJP leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP National President JP Nadda, Amit Shah, and BL Santhosh, urging them to reconsider their leadership decision. "Telangana is ready for the BJP, but the right leadership must be chosen to seize this opportunity," he concluded.
