Goshamahal MLA Raja Singh: ‘My resignation from BJP not for position, power, or personal gain’
Hyderabad: Hours after the BJP formally accepted his resignation, Goshamahal MLA T. Raja Singh on July 11, 2025, responded publicly, reflecting on his journey in the party and reaffirming his ideological commitment.
Taking to social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Raja Singh said, “Exactly 11 years ago today, I became a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. With the aim of serving the people, the nation, and protecting Hindutva, I joined the BJP. The party placed its trust in me and gave me the ticket for the Telangana Assembly elections from Goshamahal three times. I sincerely thank all BJP office-bearers from the bottom of my heart for that trust.”
Raja Singh acknowledged that his resignation had been accepted by BJP National President J.P. Nadda, and said he regrets not being able to convey the concerns of grassroots workers to the party leadership in Delhi.
“Perhaps I was not able to convey the pain and struggles of the lakhs of BJP workers in Telangana, who dream of forming a BJP government in the state. I want to make it absolutely clear that this decision has not been taken for any position, power, or personal gain,” he said.
Reiterating his ideological stance, Raja Singh added, “I was born to serve Hindutva, and I will continue to do so until my last breath. With full dedication and honesty, I will keep working for Hindutva, nationalism, and Sanatan Dharma.”
He also promised to continue speaking out for the Hindu community. “I will continue to raise my voice until my last breath in the service of society and for the rights of Hindus,” he said.
Raja Singh had earlier submitted his resignation on June 30 in protest against the appointment of Ramchander Rao as the new BJP Telangana President, calling it a move that disheartened many party workers.
