Radial Road 30 improvements near Gopanpally to complete June, 2025: RTI response
Hyderabad: As part of the ongoing development of Radial Road 30 (RR30), authorities have provided updates on the long-awaited road improvements between Nallagandla, Gopanpally, and Tellapur areas in response to an RTI query filed by Hyderabad resident Vijay Ivaturi.
According to the information furnished by the R&B department, lane markings on the stretch from Nallagandla to Gopanpally Flyover are expected to be completed by March 31, 2025. The road, which has long been plagued by incomplete lane markings, will soon see a significant improvement, offering safer and more structured travel for commuters.
However, the stretch from Gopanpally Flyover to the MyHome Sayuk project in Tellapur will see lane markings and repairs completed later, with a scheduled completion date of June 30, 2025. This delay is primarily due to the pending work on the final BT layer, which is set to be laid down before the lane markings can be properly installed.

The most pressing issue for many residents and commuters has been the numerous potholes along the road, especially near the Manthan School turning. The department has assured that repairs to these potholes will be completed by March 31, 2025, alleviating some of the road safety concerns in the short term.
With these improvements, the residents of Nallagandla, Gopanpally, and Tellapur can expect smoother and safer travel in the coming months. Local commuters have expressed a sense of relief that the authorities are addressing the ongoing issues with a clear timeline for completion.
Vijay Ivaturi, who filed the RTI request, also observed lane marking work taking place today, March 31, 2025, at the Gopanpally Flyover, indicating progress on the roadwork.
For now, drivers should be cautious and aware of the ongoing construction work. With the road's overall upgrades slated for completion by mid-2025, the hope is that these repairs will significantly reduce traffic bottlenecks and increase road safety for everyone.
