Pushpa 2 OTT release date confirmed; Here’s when & where to stream

Hyderabad: Tollywood’s blockbuster Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, will stream on Netflix starting January 30, 2025. The online platform has confirmed the release date of the highly anticipated film.

However, there is a setback for Hindi-speaking audiences, as the movie will initially be available in only four languages, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. Despite this limitation, Pushpa 2 has been a massive success at the box office, surpassing ₹1700 crore globally.

After a record-breaking theatrical run that lasted nearly two months, Pushpa 2 will conclude its cinema screening on January 29, 2025, before transitioning to Netflix. The streaming version will feature an exclusive extended cut, adding 23 minutes of previously unseen footage.

Directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers in collaboration with Sukumar Writings, Pushpa 2: The Rule follows the journey of Pushpa Raj, a laborer turned sandalwood smuggler, who faces increasing challenges from his enemies, including SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat IPS.

The film, made with a budget of ₹400-500 crore, stars Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, and others. It features music by Devi Sri Prasad and cinematography by Mirosław Kuba Brożek. With a runtime between 200-224 minutes, it is one of the longest Indian films to date.

Released worldwide on December 5, 2024, Pushpa 2 was available in multiple formats, including IMAX, 4DX, and PVR ICE. The film received positive reviews and became the second-highest-grossing Indian film, the highest-grossing Telugu film, and the highest-grossing film of the year.
