Priest injured in explosion while clearing trees in Laxmiguda, Ranga Reddy

Ranga Reddy district: A priest was severely injured in an explosion that occurred while he was clearing trees near the Parja Pathi Temple in Laxmiguda, Mailardevpally, Rangareddy district on Monday morning, November 18, 2024.

According to the reports, the incident took place around 11 a.m. when the explosion occurred as the priest was clearing trees along the pavement. He sustained serious injuries and was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Locals quickly informed the police about the blast, prompting a swift response. Police arrived at the scene and registered a case, launching an investigation into the incident.

ACP Srinivas and local corporator Thokala Srinivas Reddy visited the site to inspect the damage. A clues team and a bomb detection squad were deployed to gather evidence and determine the cause of the explosion.
