Prakash Raj to perform at Sri Lanka global summit

HYDERABAD: Actor Prakash Raj, known for his distinctive performances on the silver screen, is set to appear as a singer at an international event in Sri Lanka.

He has travelled with his troupe to Kandy to take part in the Nielini Global Summit scheduled on September 8 and 9. The summit will see the participation of about 500 representatives of civil society organisations, social workers and scientists from 102 countries.

The sessions will focus on global challenges such as food security and the ongoing crisis in agriculture. As part of the summit, Prakash Raj and his team will perform at a concert titled Songs of Resilience, where he will recite poetry set to music.
