These power outages happened in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka who was attending the inauguration ceremony. Interestingly, the department had arranged the ceremony to highlight the state government's commitment to enhancing the state's electricity infrastructure. However, it faced multiple disruptions as power was cut off three times during the event.

Vikramarka's speech was interrupted due to power outages. Electricity Regulatory Commission officials somehow managed the situation. They told the attendees that the department is taking appropriate measures to tackle the state's power woes and ensure a steady and stable power supply to the consumers.

Despite frequent power cuts, the inauguration ceremony continued. Vikramarka reaffirmed the government's dedication to enhancing the state's power grid. He promised a thorough investigation into the causes of the power outages and added that all residents will have access to reliable electricity.
