Near Retibowli Pillar No. 38, en route to Mehdipatnam, large potholes have become a serious hazard for commuters, particularly those on two-wheelers. Despite repeated complaints, including a recent post on social media by local resident Rizwan Adil, the issue remains unaddressed.

“There are dangerous potholes near Retibowli Pillar No. 38 towards Mehdipatnam. It's a serious risk for commuters—especially two-wheelers. Please take urgent action!” Rizwan Adil wrote on X (formerly Twitter), tagging the official GHMC handle @GHMCOnline. However, the post has yet to receive a response from the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.

Meanwhile, in Langar Houz, residents are struggling with sewage water leaking onto the streets, creating unhygienic conditions and foul odors. Locals say they are forced to walk or drive through the contaminated water, and claim that complaints to the concerned authorities have gone unanswered.

The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB), established in 1989, is responsible for water and sewerage management in the city. Residents facing water or sewer-related problems can contact HMWSSB via helpline numbers 155313 or 040-23300114, or reach out through its official social media channels.

The GHMC, which oversees civic infrastructure in the city, can also be contacted through its official X handle @GHMCOnline. The corporation is responsible for serving a population of 7.9 million across 650 square kilometers.
