Police vehicle overturns after tyre burst, four injured in Patancheru
Hyderabad: A police vehicle of the Cyberabad Police Commissionerate overturned on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, after a tyre burst at the Outer Ring Road Exit 3 near Muthangi in Patancheru Mandal. The vehicle was en route from the Cyberabad Commissionerate to Sangareddy Jail when the incident occurred.
The four police personnel in the vehicle sustained severe injuries and were immediately rushed to a government hospital in Patancheru for treatment.

In another incident, a 10-year-old girl lost her life, and her father sustained injuries after their scooter was struck by a speeding lorry on Manikonda Road near Shaikpet on January 28, 2025.
The victim, identified as Gaddam Atharvi, a class 5 student at Delhi School of Excellence, was being dropped off by her father when the collision occurred. The impact caused Atharvi to fall off the scooter, and she died at the scene. Her father, who suffered minor injuries, was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Locals who witnessed the incident rushed to assist, stopped the lorry, and informed the police. Authorities arrived shortly after and began investigating the cause of the crash.
A 10-year-old girl, Kameshwari, tragically died after a lorry collided with the scooter she was riding on August 30, 2024. Kameshwari, a class 6 student at Johnson Grammar School, was traveling with her mother, Santoshi, and her younger brother, Vedansh, when the accident occurred.

As the lorry struck their scooter, Santoshi and Vedansh fell to the left side of the road, while Kameshwari was thrown to the right and run over by the vehicle. Despite efforts to save her, Kameshwari succumbed to her injuries.
On August 17, 2024, 16-year-old Ranga Sathvika, a 10th grader at Gowtham Model School, was killed in a road accident in Tarnaka. Sathvika was in an auto parked behind an RTC bus when a high-speed tipper lorry collided with the auto. The force of the crash caused the auto to slam into the bus, resulting in Sathvika’s death and severe injuries to the auto driver, who was hospitalized.
