Prabhakar Rao Assures Full Cooperation in Phone Tapping Case in SC Undertaking

Hyderabad: In a significant development in the high-profile phone tapping case, the Supreme Court on May 29 granted interim protection from arrest to retired IPS officer T. Prabhakar Rao. Rao, the prime accused in the case, had reportedly been residing in the United States after leaving Hyderabad over a year ago, following the registration of the case by the Punjagutta police in Telangana.

The Supreme Court’s decision came after Rao submitted an undertaking assuring his full cooperation with the ongoing investigation.
