Hyderabad: Prof. P. Jalapathi, I/c Convener, TG CPGET-2024 & Director, has announced that the Prof. G. Ram Reddy Centre for Distance Education at Osmania University, Hyderabad, is inviting applications for the MBA and MCA Entrance Test for the academic year 2024-2025. This entrance test is a crucial eligibility criterion for admission into the two-year MBA and MCA programs offered through distance education.

Applications will be accepted online from October 22, 2024, to November 5, 2024. A late fee of Rs. 500 will be applicable for applications submitted up to November 8, 2024. The tentative date of the examination is November 9, 2024. Candidates who have qualified for the TS/AP ICET-2024 are eligible for direct admission and do not need to apply for this entrance test.

Eligibility Criteria

MBA: Any graduate (10 2 3, 10 2 4, or 10 3 3 pattern) with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for BC/SC/ST candidates). A pass in S.S.C is mandatory.

MCA: Any graduate (10 2 3, 10 2 4, or 10 3 3 pattern). Candidates must have Mathematics as one of the subjects in their degree. Those without Mathematics must have passed it in their 10 2 examination.

Candidates are advised to ensure their eligibility before applying, as the eligibility of applicants will not be verified at the time of application or hall ticket issuance.

Test Format and Registration Fee: The entrance test will assess candidates' systematic thinking, verbal and mathematical skills, and aptitude for MBA/MCA programs. The test consists of 100 multiple-choice questions divided into three sections, with each question having four possible answers.

The registration fee for online application is ₹900, payable through net banking, debit cards, or credit cards.

Hall Tickets and Admission Process:

Hall tickets, along with exam schedules and necessary instructions, will be available on the OU websites: ouadmissions.com and http://www.osmania.ac.in. Candidates must download their hall tickets, affix a recent passport-sized photograph (matching the one uploaded in the application), and self-attest it. Entry to the exam will not be permitted without a valid hall ticket.

Admission to the MBA and MCA courses is subject to the rules and regulations of Osmania University.
