Speeding vehicle crashes into divider in Hyderabad’s Old City, two hurt
Hyderabad: Two people were seriously injured after a speeding car hit a road divider near the CRPF campus on Barkas Road in the Old City, Hyderabad, late Wednesday night.
Eyewitnesses said the car was moving at high speed before it collided with the divider. The impact left the vehicle severely damaged. Locals pulled the two occupants from the car and rushed them to a hospital. Police arrived at the scene after being alerted by residents and used a JCB machine to clear the wreckage. Traffic resumed soon after.
Suraram Road: Man Dies After Bike Skids
A 25-year-old man died in a road accident on Suraram Road on Wednesday night. According to police, the man was riding a bike when it skidded and he fell. He sustained serious injuries and died on the spot. An investigation has been launched, and efforts are underway to identify the deceased. A case has been registered.
Earlier, two IT employees died and two others were critically injured in a road accident on Saturday morning, June 7, under Ghatkesar Police Station limits in Medchal-Malkajgiri district.
The accident occurred on the Madharam–Edulabad road when a car lost control and crashed into an electric pole. The deceased were identified as Bhargav of Kuntloor and Varshith of Sainikpuri. The injured, Praveen Yadav and Dinesh, are undergoing treatment. Police said all four worked for an IT company in Madhapur and had attended a party at a guesthouse in Madharam before the crash. Locals blamed overspeeding.
In another incident, three young men died and another was seriously injured in a head-on collision between a Skoda car and a DCM vehicle near Narayana College in Kuntloor village on May 21. The accident happened around 5:45 a.m. on a curve opposite the AEGIS LPG bunk. The Skoda was heading from Pasumamula to Kuntloor when it collided with the oncoming DCM vehicle.
The deceased were identified as Pinninti Chandra Sena Reddy (24), Chunchu Thrinadh Reddy (24), and Chunchu Varshith Reddy (23), all from Kuntloor. Alimeti Pawan Kalyan Reddy (24) sustained serious injuries and was admitted to Sunrise Hospital in Hayathnagar.
