Normal cold temperatures to persist in Hyderabad, says Telangana Weatherman

Hyderabad: Cold temperatures will continue throughout the week in Hyderabad and Telangana, according to the Telangana Weatherman on January 12, 2025.

In a weather update shared on the social media platform ‘X,’ previously known as Twitter, the Telangana Weatherman (@balaji25_t) mentioned that while cold conditions are expected to persist, the last week of January could see slightly warmer temperatures. The overall weather, however, will remain dry.

His post read as, “Normal cold temperatures to continue in rest of the week. Jan last week can be slightly warm. Overall weather to remain dry.”

The Indian Meteorological Department in Hyderabad has issued a weather forecast for the city and its surrounding areas today, January 12, 2025. The forecast predicts a partly cloudy sky with misty or hazy conditions during the morning hours.

The maximum temperature is expected to be around 28°C, while the minimum temperature will be around 18°C. Southeasterly winds are anticipated, with speeds ranging from 4 to 8 km/h.

On January 8, 2025, Hyderabad experienced its coldest night of the season. Telangana Weatherman had previously warned residents of the particularly cold conditions expected on that night.

In a post on ‘X,’ he had stated that temperatures were likely to drop to 5-7°C in North and West Telangana, and 7-9°C in parts of Hyderabad. He advised people to prepare for a chilly morning and take necessary precautions against the cold.
