Nizam College NCC cadets excel at Thal Sainik Camp in Delhi

HYDERABAD: Three NCC cadets of Nizam College brought laurels to Osmania University by excelling at the All India Thal Sainik Camp held in New Delhi from September 1 to 12.

The cadets — Gummadi Jayadeep Goud , Banoth Anjaneyulu and Chilasagar Shankar are pursuing BCom and BBA at Nizam College. They were selected after a rigorous four-month training process and showcased their talent at the national-level event.

Prof A V Rajashekar, principal of Nizam College, congratulated the cadets for bringing recognition to the college and Osmania University. Vice principal Renuka also praised their achievement and said she hoped they would continue to excel.

Capt T Gangadhar, associate NCC officer, recalled the challenges faced by the cadets during the preparatory phase and lauded their dedication. Dr V Naveen Reddy, NCC care-taking officer, congratulated the cadets and thanked the principal, vice principal and faculty members for their encouragement.

The cadets expressed gratitude to the college administration and NCC officers for their support throughout the training and competition.
