Hyderabad is swiftly developing into a global city. City is attracting investments from various national and international organizations. These companies are setting up operations and expanding their activities in the city. In line with this growth, the state government is prioritizing the development of areas on the city’s outskirts. This includes the creation of a 'Net Zero City' as part of their broader urban development plans.
The state government is also utilizing land previously acquired for the Pharma City project to build the 'Net Zero City.' The previous administration intended to acquire around 19,000 acres for the Pharma City, with over 12,000 acres already acquired. After the Congress party came to power, they announced plans to develop the Pharma City in clusters around Hyderabad rather than a single location.
