Narayana College student found dead in hostel at Bachupally campus  

Bachupally: A first-year inter-student was found dead in her hostel room at Narayana College in Bachupally, Medchal District, on Sunday, October 20, 2024.

According to the reports, the first-year inter-student has been identified as Anusha. Anusha's parents had dropped her off at the hostel on Sunday after her return from a Dussehra vacation. They then went back to their home.

Before even returning home, Anusha's parents received a call from the college management informing them that their daughter had lost consciousness. They immediately returned to the college and were devastated to learn that Anusha had passed away by hanging herself.

Before Anusha's parents arrived, the college staff had immediately rushed her to Gandhi Hospital, but she was declared dead upon arrival.

Anusha's parents have alleged that their daughter had complained to them multiple times about harassment by the college management staff. They have blamed the college staff for her death and are protesting outside the college demanding justice.

Bachupally police have registered a case and are currently investigating the incident.
