Rajendranagar SOT busts drug party in Moinabad farmhouse
HYDERABAD: The Rajendranagar Special Operations Team (SOT) on Sunday busted a drug party being held illegally at Cherry Works Farmhouse in Pedda Mangalaram village under the Moinabad police station limits of Ranga Reddy district.
Police said over 50 intermediate students, including several minors aged between 15 and 17 years, were found at the farmhouse when the raid was conducted.
According to officers, the participants included youths from Gachibowli, Madhapur, Narsingi, Kukatpally and KPHB areas of Hyderabad. The group comprised about 35 boys and 14 girls.
Preliminary medical tests showed that two of the attendees tested positive for drug use. Police also seized eight liquor bottles and DJ equipment from the premises.
Investigators said the organisers did not have any permission to hold the event. The main organiser, identified as Kishan, along with five others, has been booked under relevant sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act and the Excise Act.

Police found that the event was promoted through an Instagram page named “Trap House”, where interested students were invited to join by paying ₹1,300 online.
Authorities are conducting further inquiry to trace the supply chain of the drugs and verify how minors managed to access the event.
