MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy alleges phone tapping, files complaint at Banjara Hills police station

Hyderabad: Padi Kaushik Reddy, the Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Huzurabad Constituency, on December 4, 2024, filed a formal complaint with the Station House Officer at Banjarahills Police Station, Hyderabad, alleging that his personal phone conversations have been tapped.

In his complaint, Padi Kaushik Reddy raised concerns regarding his personal safety and accused certain individuals of being involved in the unauthorised phone tapping.

In his statement, Padi Kaushik Reddy said, "I have noticed suspicious activities related to my phone conversations, leading me to suspect that my personal phone calls are being tapped. I have strong reasons to believe that Honourable Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and IG Shivadhar Reddy might be involved in this illegal activity."

Padi Kaushik Reddy further stated, "This phone tapping has severely breached my personal privacy, putting my safety at significant risk. It constitutes a violation of my fundamental rights."

In his complaint, the MLA requested immediate action, urging the authorities to "conduct a thorough investigation into this matter" and to take legal action against those responsible for the illegal phone tapping. He also requested that measures be taken to ensure his safety, safeguard his privacy, and protect his rights.
