He wrote, “@GHMCOnline @gadwalvijayainc @HMWSSBOnline. I am writing to bring to your immediate attention a serious issue at Miyapur X Road, where water is continuously seeping from the bottom of the road surface. It appears that there may be a leak in the underground water pipelines.”

Santhosh Kumar Kothamasu added that the leak is causing damage to the road infrastructure, leading to worsening road conditions, increased traffic delays, and a risk of accidents, particularly during peak hours and bad weather.

He urged authorities to inspect the area urgently, identify the source of the leak, and take corrective action. He also tagged the Commissioner of GHMC and Hyderabad Traffic Police, requesting their immediate attention to the matter.

Residents facing similar water or sewerage issues in Hyderabad can contact HMWSSB through its helplines at 155313 or 040-23300114, or via social media on X (@HMWSSBOnline). GHMC-related concerns can be addressed to @GHMCOnline on the same platform.

The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) was established on November 1, 1989, and is responsible for managing the city's water supply and sewerage services. The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) oversees Hyderabad, the capital and largest city of the Indian state of Telangana. It is one of the largest municipal corporations in India, serving a population of 7.9 million people across an area of 650 square kilometers.
