Miss World 2025 contestants join hands in Hyderabad to support orphaned children
Hyderabad: A major charity event was held at the Trident Hotel in Hyderabad on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, bringing together 108 Miss World 2025 contestants to support over 200 orphaned children from Telangana. The event was organized by Fortune Hospitality and Sudeeksha Estates, under the leadership of Dr. Rama Krishna, in collaboration with the Miss World Organization’s Beauty with a Purpose initiative. The Telangana government also extended support for the event.
As part of the program, the children spent time with the contestants, shared a meal, and took part in personal conversations. The focus was on offering emotional support and building confidence among the children. During the event, organizers announced a year-long sponsorship plan for the 200 children. The support will include education, school books, nutritious food, clothing, school kits, toiletries, educational toys, digital watches, and personal luggage. Protein supplements will also be provided.
In addition, the historic Victoria Memorial School will be fully renovated to improve its infrastructure and learning environment. Julia Morley, Chairperson and CEO of the Miss World Organization, said the event reflected the mission of Beauty with a Purpose. “The contestants have shown true compassion and a desire to make a difference,” she said.
Miss World 2024, Krystyna Pyszkova, said she was inspired by the strength of the children. “Spending time with these girls reminded us why it’s important to care and act,” she said. Dr. Rama Krishna said the event was more than a one-day gesture. “We are committed to giving these children long-term support and a better future,” he said.
