Hyderabad: The 72nd Miss World Festival's Head to Head Challenge officially began today, May 20, 2025, at T-Hub, Hyderabad’s innovation and entrepreneurship center. The event offers contestants an opportunity to share their personal stories, present their social projects, and speak about the values and experiences that drive them. This phase of the competition is divided into two days. Contestants from the Americas, Caribbean, and Africa are participating today, while those representing Europe, Asia, and Oceania will take the stage on May 21.

A key focus of the challenge is Beauty With a Purpose, the cornerstone of Miss World’s mission to empower women through service and community impact. Contestants are presenting initiatives that address real-world issues, from education and healthcare to poverty and women’s rights. Those who deliver the most impactful speeches will move on to the next round, bringing them one step closer to the Miss World crown. The Head to Head Challenge is regarded as one of the most important parts of the festival, placing emphasis on leadership, vision, and the ability to inspire change.

 Miss World 2025 Talent Competition

On May 18, 2025, the first round of Talent Auditions concluded with the announcement of the contestants advancing to the second round, which was scheduled for May 19. From the Asia and Oceania region, contestants from Australia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Bangladesh, China PR, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, the Philippines, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, India, and Myanmar have advanced.

In the European group, the quarterfinalists include representatives from Gibraltar, Estonia, Poland, Moldova, Latvia, Serbia, Ireland, the Netherlands, Malta, Montenegro, Slovenia, Italy, Wales, Greece, the Czech Republic, and Germany.

From Africa, the advancing countries are Angola, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Equatorial Guinea, Nigeria, Zambia, Botswana, Kenya, and Tunisia.

The Americas and Caribbean group features quarterfinalists from the United States, Puerto Rico, the Cayman Islands, Paraguay, Suriname, Martinique, Jamaica, Argentina, Brazil, and Trinidad and Tobago.
