Five youths detained in Narsingi after alleged assault on minor girl

Hyderabad: A minor girl was allegedly assaulted by five youths in Narsingi, Ranga Reddy district. The incident came to light when the girl's parents filed a complaint with the police on Friday, February 7, 2025.

The suspects, from Hydershahkote in Narsingi, are known to the victim, who also resides in the same locality. The girl began feeling unwell, and when questioned by her parents, she disclosed the assault.

Following this, the victim’s parents lodged a complaint with the Narsingi police, who filed a case under the POCSO Act and detained the suspects. The girl was taken to a local hospital for a medical examination.
