Massive fire in Hyderabad's Ramanthapur; Another blaze at Manikonda apartment
Hyderabad: A massive fire broke out early Wednesday morning, November 27, 2024, at a house in Vivek Nagar, Ramanthapur, Hyderabad.
Authorities suspect an explosion from a battery-operated bike triggered the fire. The fire quickly spread from the exploded bike, engulfing the house and causing significant damage.
According to the reports, local residents acted quickly to control the flames before fire safety personnel arrived. Firefighters from a nearby locality rushed to the scene and managed to bring the fire under control.
A total of nine bikes were destroyed in the blaze, including two battery-operated bikes. Seven other two-wheelers parked in the area were also severely damaged as the fire spread from the exploded bike.
The Uppal police were notified and arrived at the scene to investigate the cause of the fire. They have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident.
In a separate fire incident on the same day, a fire broke out on the 9th floor of the EIPL Apartment in Manikonda. Firefighters quickly responded and extinguished the flames. Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire at this location as well.
