The cold storage, which housed a variety of pharmaceutical products from multiple companies operating in the Sangareddy region, suffered extensive damage. The value of the goods lost in the fire is yet to be assessed.

Panic spread among local residents, particularly brick kiln workers living near the cold storage. Many fled their homes as thick smoke and flames spread through the area. Authorities confirmed that there were no casualties or injuries reported as of Thursday morning.

Officials said the cause of the fire is still under investigation. Fire and police personnel remained at the scene overnight to ensure the blaze did not reignite and to assess the structural safety of the remaining parts of the facility.

Local police have cordoned off the area, and an inquiry has been initiated. Preliminary efforts are underway to document the extent of the damage and identify the possible source of the fire.

Gubba Pharma Cold Storage is known for storing temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical products. The incident has raised concerns about fire safety protocols in industrial storage units across the region.

Further updates are expected once the forensic and fire department teams complete their inspection.
