The industrial park will cater to Japanese and other multinational companies looking to set up manufacturing facilities in Telangana. It will focus on sectors such as electronics, green pharma, precision engineering, aerospace, and defence, key areas aligned with the state’s strategy to attract advanced manufacturing and create skilled employment.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy described the initiative as a major milestone in the development of Future City, which is being planned as India’s first Net Zero city. “The Marubeni industrial park will be one of the first major developments in the Future City. It is expected to create around 30,000 direct and indirect jobs,” he said.

He also assured Marubeni of full support from the state government. “We are delighted to have Marubeni as a key investor. Telangana is committed to providing a world-class business environment,” the Chief Minister added.

Dai Sakakura, Executive Officer and COO of Next Generation Business at Marubeni, welcomed the Telangana delegation and expressed interest in collaborating with the state. “We were impressed by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s vision and are keen to explore opportunities in Telangana,” he said.

Marubeni operates in 65 countries through over 410 group companies and employs more than 50,000 people worldwide.

The Telangana delegation included Chief Minister’s Principal Secretary Sheshadri, Special Chief Secretary Jayesh Ranjan, and Special Secretary Ajit Reddy.
