Manchu Mohan Babu & son Manoj appear before Ranga Reddy District Collectorate

Hyderabad: Veteran actor Manchu Mohan Babu and his son, actor Manchu Manoj, appeared before the Ranga Reddy District Collectorate in Kongara Kalan, Ibrahimpatnam Mandal, on Monday, February 3, 2025, in connection with a property dispute. The visit followed a complaint filed by Mohan Babu regarding the ongoing dispute over family property.

After a two-hour interrogation, both Mohan Babu and Manoj left the Collectorate without making any statements to the media. The Additional Collector, Pratima Singh, has directed both parties to return for further questioning next week.

Earlier, Mohan Babu had filed a complaint against his son and daughter-in-law, Monika, at the Rachakonda Police Commissionerate on December 9, 2024. The complaint, which cited threats to his life and property, alleged that Manoj had caused a disturbance at the actor's home on December 8.

According to Mohan Babu, Manoj returned to the house after a four-month absence, accompanied by individuals described as "anti-social elements." Following this, Manoj and Monika allegedly left the residence, leaving their 7-month-old daughter in the care of a maid and nanny.

Mohan Babu further claimed that later that evening, he was informed that about 30 individuals, reportedly associates of Manoj, had forcibly entered his home. The group allegedly threatened his staff, evicted them, and declared that no one could enter the house without their permission.

Concerned for his safety, Mohan Babu stated that these individuals, under the direction of Manoj and Monika, had illegally occupied his home and were threatening his staff. He requested immediate legal action to evict them and sought protection for his safety.

In response, Manoj filed his own complaint at the Pahadi Shareef Police Station on the same day, December 9, 2024. Manoj requested police action based on his medical report, which came after a heated argument with his father on December 8. On December 7, Manoj was seen leaving a hospital wearing a neck brace and showing signs of a leg injury, sparking concern among his fans.

Both Mohan Babu and Manoj have filed separate cases against each other, and the investigation into the dispute continues.
