Man stabbed to death by woman's son in Saroornagar

Hyderabad: A 47-year-old man was fatally stabbed in Karmanghat, Saroornagar, on Sunday night, March 30, 2025.

According to the reports, the victim has been identified as B. Venkateshwarlu, a financier from Janaki Enclave, who was attacked by 27-year-old Pavan, the son of the woman with whom Venkateshwarlu had been in a living relationship for the past ten months.

Reports indicated that Venkateshwarlu and Pavan frequently disputed, with Venkateshwarlu allegedly reprimanding Pavan. On Sunday night, their argument escalated into a physical confrontation.

Venkateshwarlu called the police to report the altercation at around 11 p.m. Before officers could reach the spot, Pavan attacked Venkateshwarlu with a knife, stabbing him in the chest, stomach, and shoulder, and fled the area.

Venkateshwarlu was taken to Osmania General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The Saroornagar police have registered a case, and an investigation is underway.
