HYDERABAD: TPCC Chief Mahesh Goud hosts breakfast meet to end ministers’ rift
HYDERABAD: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) chief Mahesh Goud on Tuesday invited ministers Ponnam Prabhakar and Adluri Laxman Kumar to his residence for a breakfast meeting aimed at resolving their recent differences.
According to party sources, both ministers are expected to arrive shortly at Goud’s residence. The PCC chief is reportedly keen to end the dispute and restore coordination between the two senior leaders.
Chief Minister’s advice to resolve issue
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is learnt to have advised Mahesh Goud to mediate and ensure that both ministers work in harmony. Party in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan has also sought details about the issue from state leaders.
Ministers likely to bury the hatchet
Adluri Laxman Kumar has insisted that Ponnam Prabhakar apologise for remarks he allegedly made, while Ponnam has denied making any such statement. Mahesh Goud is expected to advise both ministers to work in coordination and avoid public discord.
