The letter stated, “This is behalf of the local residents and commuters who frequent the area around Bairamalguda Lake near Sagar X Roads. We would like to bring to your kind attention an issue that has been causing serious inconvenience and concern to the public. In recent weeks, a group of individuals, identified as transgenders, have been regularly gathering near the lake and causing disturbances in the form of aggressive behavior, inappropriate conduct, and harassment of pedestrians and motorists.”

It further added, “While we understand and respect the rights of every individual, we also believe that public spaces should remain peaceful and accessible to all citizens without fear or discomfort. The current situation is affecting not only the daily routines of the local residents but also creating a negative atmosphere in what should be a serene and family-friendly location.”

The residents have requested the police to increase patrolling and take necessary measures to ensure law and order. Responding to the concerns, DCP Praveen and Addl. DCP Koteshwar Rao assured that steps would be taken to restore safety in the area.

Raja Shekar Reddy later thanked the police for their swift response and shared the development on X (formerly Twitter) through his official handle @raj_daripally. The issue has sparked conversation in the local community, with many hoping for timely action to bring relief to those affected.
