Kushaiguda: Motorists skid off the road as oil spill causes chaos, few sustain injuries
Hyderabad: Several motorists sustained injuries after their vehicles skidded off the road and fell due to an accidental oil spillage on the road between Kushaiguda and Nagaram on Saturday evening. One motorist reportedly sustained a head injury.
The videos going viral on social media showed chaotic scenes on the busy road near Kushaiguda D-Mart. Visuals of two-wheeler riders losing control of their vehicles as their tyres slipped on a slick surface are being widely shared on various social media platforms.
After receiving a report, the police officials immediately reached the spot and spread soil on the slick surface to ensure no further skidding of vehicles on the busy road, according to Kushaiguda police. The source of the oil spillage and the vehicle responsible for the leak are being investigated, he added.
