Hyderabad: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR), accused Chief Minister Revanth Reddy of orchestrating an Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) investigation to distract from the Congress government's failures, particularly its alleged betrayal of farmers under the Rythu Bharosa scheme.

KTR stated that summoning him for an investigation in a case with a reserved verdict from the Telangana High Court mocks the Constitution. He responded to the ACB's notice about alleged irregularities in the Formula E car race event, issued on January 2, by visiting the ACB office in Banjara Hills on Monday.

However, ACB officials stopped KTR and his legal team at the main gate, denying them entry. KTR submitted his written response to ACB officials outside the office premises. In his reply, KTR highlighted the pending High Court judgment related to the FIR filed against him on December 18. He also questioned the lack of specific details in ACB's notice, urging clarity on the required documents and information.

Speaking to the media, KTR alleged that โ€œRevanth Reddy is attempting to impose his own unconstitutional practices in Telangana. He accused the Congress government of infringing on his rights and recalled a similar incident involving Narender Reddy, a BRS leader and ex-MLA, who faced false implications through fabricated statementsโ€. Further, KTR criticized the authorities for barring his legal team from accompanying him and demanded a written explanation if they prohibit such support. He further alleged a conspiracy to plant illegal items in his house as part of a politically motivated agenda.

KTR claimed the ACB inquiry is an attempt to distract from the Congress government's unfulfilled promises and its "betrayal" of farmers. He vowed to continue exposing government failures despite such tactics and reaffirmed his commitment to holding the Congress accountable for its "420 promises." The BRS leader condemned the Congress administration for resorting to diversion politics instead of addressing public grievances. He asserted that such intimidation tactics will not deter him from pursuing justice for Telanganaโ€™s people.
