Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has issued a notice to BRS Working President and former Telangana minister K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) in connection with alleged irregularities related to the Formula E Race held in Hyderabad. He has been asked to appear for an enquiry on May 28.

Responding to the notice, KTR confirmed he had received it and said he would cooperate with the investigation. “As a law-abiding citizen, I will definitely cooperate with the agencies, even though the case is nothing but political harassment,” he said.

In a post on his official ‘X’ account, KTR stated that he had prior travel commitments to the UK and USA and informed ACB officials in writing that he would appear before them upon his return.

KTR also criticized Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, accusing him of pursuing political vendetta. “I should appreciate Revanth Reddy for his thirst for political vendetta and the way he swings in any direction without scruples to achieve it,” he said. “Just 48 hours ago, his name appeared in the ED chargesheet related to the National Herald case. A day later, he was seen with BJP leaders, including Prime Minister Modi. Not a word from the BJP on his alleged involvement in the money laundering case.”

He added, “Today, I get a notice from the ACB. Revanth Reddy may fail as an administrator, a leader, and even as a human being, but he is proving himself in cheap vendetta politics. I know BRS scares him. So, keep trying.”
