Hyderabad commercial land in KPHB fetches for ₹2.4 lakh per yard

HYDERABAD: In one of Hyderabad’s busiest localities, Kukatpally Housing Board (KPHB) Colony, a 726-square yard commercial plot located near Chaitanya Food Court on the road from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) to HITEC City was auctioned by Housing Board officials.

The plot fetched ₹2,47,500 per square yard. Only four bidders participated in the auction, and the site was sold to Srinivas Goud, Balraj Goud, Kumar Goud and Bhupal.

Three months ago, a similar plot in KPHB Colony was auctioned for nearly ₹3 lakh per square yard. Builders and traders in the area expressed surprise that a prime commercial site went for a comparatively lower price this time.
