Nagarjuna responds to minister’s comments on actor couple's divorce

Hyderabad: Telangana minister Konda Surekha's comments on former Tollywood actor couple has not gone down well with Tollywood superstar Akkineni Nagarjuna.

Naa Saami Ranga actor censured Konda Surekha for dragging the divorce issue of actor couple's divorce into the political discourse. Nagarjuna called out the minister in his social media post on X (formerly) and said Surekha's comments were "irrelevant and false" and demanded that she withdraw them.

"I strongly condemn the comments of the Honorable Minister Mrs. Konda Surekha. Don't use the lives of movie stars who stay away from politics to criticize your opponents. Please respect other people's privacy. As a woman in a responsible position, your comments and accusations against our family are completely irrelevant and false. I request you to withdraw your comments immediately," Nagarjuna tweeted.
