Software engineer jumps to death from 7th floor in Kokapet

Kokapet: A 27-year-old software engineer allegedly ended his life by jumping from the seventh floor of a hostel building in Kokapet, Ranga Reddy district on October 25, 2024.

The deceased has been identified as Naga Prabhakar (27), a resident of Kokapet, and a native of Andhra Pradesh. He worked as a software employee in Gachibowli.

According to police reports, Naga Prabhakar was found dead on the ground below his hostel room. Concerned locals alerted the police about the incident.

Upon receiving the information, Narsingi police promptly rushed to the crime scene, examined the area, and shifted his body to Osmania General Hospital for a post-mortem.

A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway to determine the circumstances surrounding Prabhakar's death. While work pressure is being considered as a possible motive, police are exploring other potential factors that may have contributed to the tragic incident.
