KNRUHS opens NEET-PG 2025 counselling for PG medical seats in Telangana

HYDERABAD: Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Telangana, has invited online applications from candidates qualified in NEET-PG 2025 for admission into postgraduate medical degree and diploma courses under the Competent Authority Quota for the academic year 2025-26. The notification also covers seats at Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), Hyderabad.

The university said registration for web-based counselling will be open on https://tspgmed.tsche.in from 08.00 IST on October 1 to 17.00 IST on October 8, 2025. Merit lists will be released after scrutiny of certificates uploaded by applicants. The total number of seats will be notified on the KNRUHS website before counselling. Tuition fees will be as per Government of Telangana orders.

Cut-off scores and eligibility

Candidates must have secured the minimum cut-off in NEET-PG 2025: 276 marks (50th percentile) for General/EWS, 255 (45th percentile) for General-PwD, and 235 (40th percentile) for SC/ST/OBC including PwD categories. The internship completion deadline is July 31, 2025.

Eligibility conditions include being an Indian national, Person of Indian Origin, or Overseas Citizen of India, and a local candidate of Telangana. Applicants must hold an MBBS degree from a recognised institution in Telangana or Siddhartha Medical College, Vijayawada, and should possess permanent registration from the Telangana State Medical Council.

Application process

The registration fee is ₹10,000 for open and backward class candidates, and ₹8,000 for SC/ST candidates, payable online. Candidates must upload scanned copies of documents including NEET-PG hall ticket, rank card, MBBS degree certificate, study and caste certificates (if applicable), internship completion, and medical registration certificates.

The university clarified that applicants will upload documents for registration only once, and the admissions committee will finalise admissions strictly based on merit, category, and court/government orders. The university will announce dates for exercising web options later.
