Hyderabad: Residents of Jahanuma have raised concerns over an incomplete road repair near the Jahanuma Water Tank, in front of Imli ka Jhaad, which has been causing traffic congestion for over a week. Locals are urging the authorities to complete the work without further delay.

The issue was brought to light on X (formerly Twitter) by People of Hyderabad (@PeopleHyderabad), who tagged relevant civic body and local representatives. The post read, “Dear @GHMCOnline @HMWSSBOnline, Kindly expedite the repair of road near Jahanuma WaterTank, in front of Imli ka Jhaad. The work been left incomplete for over a week causing traffic congestion. urgent attention is needed. @AimimJahanuma @MuqtaderBaba @asadowaisi @TelanganaCMO.”

Residents said that the matter had not been acknowledged until the post was shared online. Following the post, the official handle of the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) responded, “Good evening sir. Please provide your contact number to register a complaint and to receive updates.”

After the complaint was registered, HMWSSB assigned the issue to its local staff, stating, “Please follow up @hmwssbgmom2b @hmwssbdgmbalpur @hmwssbmgrjahnma JAHANUMA Section Manager.”
