Residents of Izzath Nagar, Rangareddy, request road resurfacing and drainage improvements
Hyderabad: Residents of Izzath Nagar, Kothaguda, in Serilingampally, Rangareddy district, have raised concerns regarding the deteriorating road conditions that have persisted for over a year. Local residents are urging the Telangana government and Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) to address the issue promptly.
Kante Shiva Kumar, a concerned resident, highlighted the issue on social media, stating, “@GandhiArekapudi #jagadeeshgoud sir, it’s been almost 1 and a half years, and the road conditions in Izzath Nagar are still bad. #GHMC #government #Telangana #govt #Congress.”
In response, Shiva Kumar shared a letter from the All India Youth Federation (AIYF) addressed to Arekapudi Gandhi, the local MLA, requesting urgent intervention. The letter read, “I am writing to bring to your attention the poor condition of roads in our locality. The roads have been in a state of disrepair for many months, and we urge your support in initiating a comprehensive road repair and maintenance program. This should include resurfacing existing roads, improving drainage systems, and constructing new roads where necessary.”
