Intruder breaks into Mahbubnagar MP DK Aruna's residence in Hyderabad
Hyderabad: A mysterious intruder broke into the house of Mahbubnagar MP, DK Aruna, in the early hours of Sunday, March 16, 2025 in Hyderabad.
The incident occurred around 4 a.m. at her residence on Jubilee Hills Road Number 56. According to the reports, the suspect, wearing a mask, entered the house from the back, cut the CCTV camera wires, and spent nearly an hour inside before escaping.
When DK Aruna's daughter woke up, she noticed the house in disarray and observed that the kitchen window grill had been removed. Her driver, Lakshman, later filed a complaint with the Jubilee Hills police.
Upon investigation, the police found no items had been stolen, which raised suspicions. They are now reviewing footage from other CCTV cameras to identify the intruder, who is believed to be someone who may have worked at the house previously.
DK Aruna responded to the incident, noting that the lack of theft made the situation more suspicious. "If it had been a theft, something would have been taken. The fact that nothing was stolen suggests the intruder may have been gathering information," she said. Aruna highlighted the need for enhanced security and urged Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to take the matter seriously.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy spoke with Aruna and assured her that security would be increased. He directed the police to speed up the investigation and ensure the facts are uncovered.
