Indian Army opens applications for Agniveer recruitment 2025-26 in Telangana
Hyderabad: The Indian Army has begun accepting online applications for the Agniveer intake under the Agnipath Scheme for the 2025-26 recruiting year. Unmarried male candidates from all 33 districts of Telangana are eligible to apply. The registration window, which opened on March 13, 2025, will remain open until April 10, 2025.

The recruitment drive will cover multiple categories, including Agniveer (General Duty), Agniveer (Technical), Agniveer (Clerk/Store Keeper Technical), Agniveer Tradesmen (10th Pass), and Agniveer Tradesmen (8th Pass).
Candidates can apply for up to two categories based on their qualifications. A written examination for shortlisted candidates is tentatively scheduled for June 2025.
The Telangana Police official ‘X,’ previously known as Twitter account (@TelanganaCOPs) shared the announcement, urging young aspirants to apply before the deadline. The post reads: “Attention Telangana Youth! Indian Army Recruitment Open. The Indian Army invites young aspirants to apply for AGNIVEER (all categories) recruitment for 2025-26. Visit joinindianarmy.nic.in to apply before 10 April 2025.”
