Hyderabad: Tension flared up as bulldozers rolled down the streets of Mailardevpally locality on Wednesday. The demolition drive triggered a massive backlash as the affected residents expressed outrage at the officials. Some also tried to prevent the officials from razing down their dwellings. A young woman turned aggressive and threw herself in front of the JCB machine to protect her house from demolition. The police intervened and arrested her for obstructing the officials from discharging their duties.
