The main connecting road between the two villages had been blocked by Bandakunta Narasimhareddy, who allegedly installed gates and dug up a section of the road, restricting public movement. After receiving complaints from locals, HYDRAA conducted an on-site inspection and confirmed the unauthorized installations.

The road passes through Survey Numbers 135 and 136 in Kandlakoya, where land has been allotted by the government for the upcoming district judicial complex, Medchal Sub-Registrar Office, and the Medchal Traffic Police Station. Several industries also operate in the area, and the road is used daily by residents for commuting.

Although the stretch is currently unpaved, a 40-foot-wide bitumen road has been planned. The recent obstruction raised concerns among residents, prompting them to seek immediate intervention.

HYDRAA removed the gates, cleared the rocks placed across the road, and filled the trench to restore traffic flow.

Locals have thanked the agency for acting swiftly and urged it to take appropriate action against those responsible for disrupting public access.
