The schedule for the new route sees Flight No. VJ-1803 departing Ho Chi Minh City at 19:40 ET and arriving in Hyderabad at 22:35 IST on Tuesdays and Thursdays. For the return leg, Flight No. VJ-1804 will depart Hyderabad at 23:35 IST and arrive in Ho Chi Minh City at 05:30 ET on the same days.

Pradeep Panicker, CEO of GHIAL, expressed enthusiasm about the new service, stating, "We are pleased to announce VietJet’s direct service to Ho Chi Minh City, further strengthening Hyderabad’s global presence. This new route will play a significant role in boosting tourism and trade between Hyderabad and international destinations, supporting our vision of transforming RGIA into a world-class global hub."

VietJet Vice President Do Xuan Quang also highlighted the strategic importance of the route, stating, "India is a key market for VietJet, and we are excited to offer this direct connection between Hyderabad and Ho Chi Minh City. The new service will enhance convenience for travelers and strengthen cultural, tourism, and economic ties between the two regions."

The launch of this direct flight is expected to fuel tourism, as Vietnam has become an increasingly popular destination for Indian travelers, known for its pristine beaches, vibrant cities, and rich cultural experiences. By eliminating layovers and reducing travel time, the new service makes Vietnam more accessible to tourists from Hyderabad.

From an economic perspective, the new route offers significant benefits to Hyderabad, a city known for its IT and pharmaceutical sectors. The direct flight is anticipated to facilitate business exchanges and open new opportunities for trade and investment between the two countries.

Additionally, the new service provides travelers from Hyderabad with easy onward connections to other destinations in Southeast Asia, as Vietnam serves as a gateway to the region. With this new route, RGIA continues to solidify its position as a major hub offering world-class facilities and services to travelers.
