Hyderabad: As millions gathered for the 2025 Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, several prominent personalities from Hyderabad, including politicians, actors, and police officials, made their way to the holy event. They took part in the sacred dip at the Triveni Sangam, sharing their spiritual experiences on social media and connecting with their followers over this significant pilgrimage, which continues to attract devotees from all walks of life.

1. C.V. Anand, Hyderabad Police Commissioner: C.V. Anand, the Hyderabad Police Commissioner, shared his experience on ‘X’ (formerly Twitter), stating, “Did the holy pilgrimage with family, taking a dip at the Sangam at #MahaKumbh, #PrayagRaj, Kashi Vishwanath in Varanasi, and Ram and Hanuman Temples at Ayodhya. The crowds are unbelievable, and the @Uppolice and administration are doing a wonderful job in managing it.”

Vijay Deverakonda, Actor: Popular Telugu actor Vijay Deverakonda posted on ‘X’ about his visit to the Kumbh Mela. “The 2025 Kumbh Mela - A journey to connect and pay respect to our epic origins and roots. Making memories with my Indian boys, saying prayers with mummy dearest. A trip to Kashi with this darling gang,” he wrote.

3. Chamakura Malla Reddy, Politician: Malla Reddy, the former Minister of Labour and Employment in Telangana, also took to social media to share his visit. “A holy bath was taken at the Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, with family members during the ongoing Maha Kumbh Mela,” he posted.

4. Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Telangana Minister: Telangana Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy participated in the holy dip and shared his prayers on ‘X.’ “I prayed for the happiness, prosperity, and well-being of the people of Telangana and for our government's strength to serve the poor,” he said in a post, adding that the experience was deeply spiritual and filled him with devotion.

5. Samyuktha Menon, Actress: Actress Samyuktha Menon, known for her work in Telugu, Malayalam, and Tamil films, posted pictures of her holy dip at the Kumbh Mela. “Life unfurls its meaning when we glimpse the vastness beyond it. I cherish my culture for its boundless spirit, ever nourishing the stream of consciousness, like a sacred dip in the Ganga at Mahakumbh,” she wrote on Instagram.
