Balaji's update on February 20 predicted a slight reduction in temperatures over the next few days, with daytime highs reaching around 35-36°C. Between February 23-26, temperatures are expected to range from 34-35°C, with pleasant mornings and occasional fog in some areas.

Though Hyderabad witnessed isolated rains on February 19, scattered mainly over Rajendranagar, Bahadurpura, and Aramghar, the weather will remain mostly dry in the coming days, with no significant rainfall expected.

While the cooling trend is welcome, Balaji noted that the eastern and northern parts of Telangana will continue to experience warm and humid conditions.

On February 19, several areas in Hyderabad recorded maximum temperatures of 36-38°C, with night temperatures remaining high due to a partly cloudy sky.

As summer approaches, experts are advising residents to stay hydrated, wear sunscreen, and limit outdoor activities during the hottest parts of the day. Balaji also highlighted the need for rainwater harvesting systems and better stormwater management in light of the increasing temperatures.

With the impending summer heat, residents are urged to take precautions to ensure their health and safety during the upcoming heatwave.
