This can pose a significant health risk to individuals, particularly those with pre-existing respiratory or heart conditions.
Other areas like IITH Kandi (AQI: 101) and Zoo Park (AQI: 162) are also experiencing moderate pollution levels, potentially causing discomfort to sensitive groups such as those with asthma or heart disease.

Meanwhile, the Telangana State Pollution Control Board (TGPCB) website has been down since Sunday and is still unavailable today, limiting access to real-time data for residents seeking further information on the air quality in their areas.

The Growing Pollution Problem in Hyderabad:

Earlier, industrial areas in Hyderabad were located on the outskirts of the city. However, as the city has grown, many of these industrial zones have now become an integral part of the metropolis. With Hyderabad's rapid urban expansion, the city’s boundaries are constantly extending, and even smaller roads are experiencing heavy traffic jams, contributing significantly to increased noise and air pollution.

This rise in traffic congestion is just one among many factors that contribute to the growing levels of pollutants in the city. Various types of pollutants, including particulate matter and industrial emissions, are increasing day by day, adding to the city's environmental challenges. While efforts to control pollution are underway, continuous urbanisation and industrialization make it a constant battle to keep pollution levels under control.

Citizens are urged to take precautions, especially those in areas with poor air quality, and to stay updated on the latest air quality reports for their safety.
